Speak Up is our independently hosted mechanism where team members, suppliers, workers, and their families can report serious issues confidentially, or if preferred anonymously.

Our team is a top priority at Petstock Group. This is why we strive to create a supportive environment that ensures everyone can feel valued, respected and have the opportunity to thrive.

Suppliers

At Petstock, we are committed to open and positive relationships with all of our suppliers. 

We recognise, however, that a situation may arise where a supplier feels an important concern can’t be dealt with directly with us, and where the supplier would prefer to use an independent and confidential avenue for raising the concern. We have created the Supplier Speak Up Service for this purpose.

Modern Slavery KPI's and Progress


1. Understanding Risk - Building Capability Through Targeted Training


Modern Slavery Awareness Training Completion

Focus: To improve team member awareness of modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chain

KPI FY24: Achieve 90% completion of modern slavery awareness training among team members

FY25 Result: 98% of team members completed modern slavery training, exceeding the target

Current KPI FY26: Achieve 100% completion of modern slavery awareness training among board members to support governance oversight and informed decision making.



2. Supplier Engagement - Strengthening accountability through ongoing monitoring


Supplier Code of Conduct Tracking

Objective: To strengthen governance and accountability across our supply chain by actively monitoring supplier commitment to responsible sourcing through signed Supplier Code of Conduct agreements

KPI FY25: Obtain signed code of conduct agreements from 90% of suppliers and support responsible sourcing and continuous improvement

FY25 Result: 55% of active suppliers returned a signed Supplier Code of Conduct

Current KPI FY26: Following a risk based review, the KPI was redefined to focus on higher risk areas of the supply chain:

100% of identified high risk suppliers > $1M to return a signed supplier agreement or code of conduct



3. Supplier Transparency & Incident Management - Improving incident management through increased transparency


Enhance supplier transparency

Objective: To strengthen the identification, escalation and management of potential modern slavery risks by improving transparency and visibility of labour practices across higher risk areas of the supply chain.

Current KPI FY26: Establish supplier participation on the Sedex platform, with a focus on higher risk suppliers, to establish a baseline level of supplier transparency and support effective incident management processes.



Key Priorities for FY26


During the reporting period, we completed a Modern Slavery Controls Effectiveness Maturity Assessment (CEMA), which confirmed a solid foundational base across our existing operations and processes. Looking ahead, our priority is to strengthen controls by enhancing monitoring practices and deepening awareness and knowledge throughout our supply chain.
