Family-owned business Petstock opens 200th store where it all began
Pet parents will have everything they need as family-owned business Petstock, throw open their doors on Thursday 7th April to their 200th store on Creswick Road, Ballarat.
As a business built on humble beginnings in Ballarat 20 years ago, Creswick Road will be the 200th store to open across Australia and New Zealand, servicing local pet owners.
Brothers David and Shane Young have built the Petstock business on family values, with a passion for pets and a can-do attitude.
“Having our 200th store open where it all began, in Ballarat, instils a sense of pride for not just our family, but for the wider community to show how far two local boys have come while maintaining our family values within the Petstock DNA as we continue to expand.
“We are always humbled when we hear about the positive experience customers have across the Petstock network in Australia and New Zealand as we continue to evolve and provide the quality care and expert advice that we’re known for across a range of services and products,” says Shane.
Petstock Creswick Road, will service traditional house-hold pet’s needs with the key services including DIY dog wash, grooming, puppy school, personalised pet ID tags and fish tank water testing.
Petstock Creswick Road Manager Jamie Constable is thrilled to be a part of history with the opening of the 200th store in Ballarat.

The Petstock Foundation is committed to changing the lives of pets and humans through education, awareness and their PETadopt program which supports local rescue groups with in-store pet adoption days and various fundraising and awareness activities.
To celebrate the 200th store, a Grand Opening event will be held from Wednesday 27th April – Sunday 1st May, with savings across all four Ballarat store locations.
The store is located at T4, 109 Creswick Road, Ballarat Central and will be open weekdays from 8am - 5.30pm and on weekends 9am – 5pm.
