Our support ranges greatly and depends entirely on what your organisation needs to achieve its goals.

We welcome short, succinct applications that respond clearly and thoughtfully to each item. Applications are assessed according to fit with the guidelines.

Top tips for successful applicants

1. We favour project costs over salaries and core costs


2. We like focused, well defined projects


3. A clear, detailed budget is essential


4. We encourage projects that find it hard to attract funding elsewhere


5. We favour groups that are environmentally responsible


6. We prioritise voluntary groups over salaried groups


7. It is useful to know what you could do with less money, if we cannot give the full amount


8. Supply clear project activities


9. If you have received a grant from us in the past, please provide an impact report and updates on the previous project

We will aim to supply feedback to those organisations not granted funding however, we are sorry if we are unable to.

If your application is rejected, please consider applying again.

A rejection may simply mean that we cannot afford to support your organisation or project at this time, not that we don’t support what you do.

We aim to let you know if your application has been short-listed or declined within three months. The final decision on short-listed projects can take a couple of weeks longer, depending on how quickly references come back and how long it takes to resolve any queries about the application. If your application is urgent, please make this clear in your application and email customerservice@petstockgroup.com.au. We would recommend that you apply for projects which start no less than three months after the submission of the application.

If your application is successful, you’ll receive a welcome email. In it, the Petstock Foundation team will communicate your approved funding and ask you to submit an image, your logo and descriptions of your organisation and project to be used on our website and within other communications, with your permission.

We will never push that our grant receivers provide marketing or promotion of Petstock or the Petstock Foundation. We are simply happy to help organisations, like you, continue to do the incredible work you’re doing. However, if at any time you feel it would be beneficial to use our logo, say on your website or in a post on social media for example, please just let us know.
